Terms and Conditions – Ru’s African Arts and Crafts

1. General
   By purchasing from Ru’s African, you agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
2. Product Information
   • All products are handcrafted and slight variations may occur.
   • We strive for accuracy in descriptions and images but colours and details may differ slightly from what is displayed online.
3. Orders & Payments
   • Orders are processed upon full payment.
   • We accept cash, EFT, bitcoin and card payments.
   • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Custom & Personalized Orders
   • A 50% deposit of the total price is required to confirm a custom order.
   • The full balance must be paid on the day of collection.
   • Customers who prefer to pay the full amount upfront may do so.
   • Custom orders take 4 to 7 days to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.
   • Custom and personalized items are final sale and cannot be exchanged unless defective or incorrect.
5. Shipping & Delivery
   • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
   • We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.
   • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
6. No Refunds – Exchange Policy Only
   • We do not offer refunds on any purchases.
   • Customers may exchange an item for any other product of equal or higher value in the shop, If the item is of higher value the customer must pay the difference.
   • To qualify for an exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned within 3 days of purchase.
7. Exception for Same-Day Issues
   • If a customer experiences a problem with their purchase, they must contact us within our business hours on the same day of purchase for a possible resolution.
   • Concerns raised after business hours on the day of purchase will only be valid for an exchange and not a refund.
8. Intellectual Property
   • All designs, artwork and branding are the intellectual property of Ru’s African Arts and Crafts and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Liability
   • We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse of our products.
   • Customers use our products at their own risk.
10. Privacy Policy
    • Customer information is kept confidential and used solely for processing orders and improving our services.
11. Dispute Resolution
    • Any disputes will be handled in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.
